Everybody else is doing it, so why can't we?

They say, Ruby you're like a dream
Not always what you seem
And though my heart may break when I awake
Let it be so, I only know
Ruby, it's you

They say, Ruby you're like a song
You just don't know right from wrong
And in your eyes I see heartaches for me
Right from the start, who stole my heart?
Ruby, it's you

I hear your voice and I must come to you (must come to you)
I have no choice, so what else can I do? (what else can I do?)

They say, Ruby you're like a flame
Into my life you came
And though I should beware, still I just don't care
You thrill me so, I only know
Ruby, it's you

(I hear your voice and I must come to you)
(I have no choice, what else can I do...what can I do?)

They say, Ruby you're like a flame
Into my life you came
And though I should beware, still I don't care
You thrill me so, I only know
Ruby, it's you

Candied cranberries.
I had never made them before, but with a couple of bags of cranberries in my freezer (I feel compelled to buy them since they're only available around this time of year), I wanted to try making something with them.

The thing that I love is that rich, ruby red color of them lying there on the parchment paper cooling. They look like pieces of cranberry treasure.

Mellie Mel -
They were actually quite tasty on their own. Sweet and tart at the same time.

They got even yummier when I covered them in bittersweet chocolate!

Ali -
It was SO easy to do, I highly recommend it.

I never heard of this sweet before, but I was very intrigued when I saw them on Ali's site. And I like the chocolate idea...

I love Ray Charles. I went to five of his concerts, they were great.
