Get busy, child!*

Just a brief update in list format (in no particular order):

• Soon after I made my last post, I left town and headed to my Mom's for a couple of days.


• I am now getting ready to leave my Mom's, and head to my sister's for a a couple of days.


• While at my sister's, I plan on seeing Kung Fu Panda with my nephew (last time I saw him, I promised we would go see it together while I was there). I don't know who's more excited to see it, him or me!


• I've been taking a break from my regular online hang out for almost a month now. It started off as being unintentional, as the socializing areas of the site were down, but I decided to take that as my cue to give it all a rest for a while. I might find my way back there soon, as I will be at my computer more once the summer quarter starts up, but I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it all.


• The reason why I came down here to my Mom's is because one of my dearest friends, LaPea, was down here shooting a promotional film for one of her clients with the folks from her company (and a whole bunch of other talent and crew).


• I worked as a P.A. on the shoot (mentioned in the line item prior to this one), and spent almost 2 full days on my feet. They're killing me, and my lower back isn't feeling so great either. I'm sure I'll survive just fine, thanks for your concern. ;-)


• Actor Peter Gallagher has REALLY thick eyebrows. Almost scary, actually. (I'm watching While You Were Sleeping while I type this, and it's just an observation... he wasn't a part of the shoot or anything like that.)


• I did not get to spend nearly enough time with LaPea while she was here, but we did have a GREAT dinner on Thursday, where she got to meet my Mom, and I got to meet her friend and co-worker, S. I do believe a good time was had by all.


• I also hope to go to the beach while visiting my sister, something I've been wanting to do while I've been on break and have yet to do.


• July through the beginning of August is looking pretty crazy for me. Lots of traveling, including 2 weddings, a first time meeting, and a multitude of family and friends.


• I have procrastinated as long as I could in getting my apartment into shape. I have much declutterization and closet purging to do upon my return home... hopefully I'll find the motivation to do it all.


• I still have no contract for next year, but I know they're working on it.
