Yes, I have friends and family that will support me, but I am responsible for me, my sanity, and my well-being. No one else.

I remember coming to a similar conclusion in 1994. No one else is going to live my life, and no one else is going to die my death. In that very real way, we're all alone.
it hit home to me recently as well. very much so. your responsibility is to yourself, primarily. in my opinion, it is something to be maintained and recognized.
